About the Underworld
The Underworld is the hidden city beneath King's Row — a subterranean community built and maintained by London's omnic population after they were stripped of rights following the Omnic Crisis. Unable to live on the surface, omnics in England were forced underground. They constructed their community from scraps and salvaged technology, since vendors on the surface often refused to sell to them.
It was in conditions like these that Null Sector — the radical omnic organization responsible for the Season 6 invasion — was born. The oppression of the Underworld's residents is not just backstory; it is the foundational grievance behind every attack Null Sector has ever launched.
In the Season 6 Underworld event, Tracer returns to King's Row to help protect Iggy — an omnic she has befriended — as Null Sector launches a new assault on the community. Players escort an armed TS-1 unit through an expanded King's Row, including areas never seen in the standard PvP map, while Iggy narrates the mission and the history of the community you're fighting to protect.
Underworld — Mission Overview
A free PvE cooperative event mission for 1–4 players. Fight through Null Sector forces in the expanded King's Row underground, protect the TS-1 escort unit, and save Iggy. Unlike the paid Story Missions, this event was available to all players at no cost.

The event launched with 16 event challenges, including the Lore Hunter challenge requiring players to find five hidden lore locations.
Mission Mechanics
TS-1 Escort
Players must protect and escort an armed TS-1 unit through an expanded version of King's Row, covering areas not visible in the standard PvP map.
Difficulty Modifiers
Beyond difficulty settings, three additional gameplay modifiers can be selected, allowing teams to customize the challenge level and earn better rewards.
Iggy's Narration
Iggy — a resident omnic of the Underworld who Tracer has befriended — provides narration throughout the mission, grounding the action in the human (and omnic) story beneath the surface.
Lore Hunter Challenge
A hidden challenge requires players to find and interact with five specific lore locations: Anti-Omnic Graffiti, Mondatta Memorial, Lucio Record, Lucio Concert Poster, and Underworld Sign.

The Lore Hunter challenge requires finding and interacting with five hidden locations throughout the mission. Each one tells a piece of the Underworld's story.
Anti-Omnic Graffiti
Hidden throughout the mission, anti-omnic graffiti tells the story of the surface world's hostility toward omnics — the prejudice that drove them underground.
Mondatta Memorial
A shrine to Tekhartha Mondatta, the omnic spiritual leader assassinated in King's Row by Widowmaker in the "Alive" animated short. One of the most significant lore locations in the game.
Lucio Record
A vinyl record from Lucio — whose music resonates deeply with omnic communities worldwide — tucked away in the Underworld as a hidden easter egg for lore hunters.
Lucio Concert Poster
A concert poster advertising a Lucio show, reflecting his global reach and the cultural connection between his message of freedom and the omnic communities that resonate with it.
