Watchpoint: Gibraltar is an escort map set at a former Overwatch outpost on the Rock of Gibraltar. Attackers must escort a rocket payload through the base and launch it into orbit before defenders can stop them.
Escort Mode
Attackers push a payload along a track to the delivery point while defenders try to stop them before time runs out.
Attack
Stay near the payload to move it forward. Coordinate pushes and protect the payload from defenders.
Defense
Stop the payload by contesting it. Focus on holding choke points and eliminating attackers.

Full guideWatchpoint: Gibraltar is Overwatch's original escort map, set at a coastal rocket launch facility overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The payload must travel through the facility's outer walkway, through the main hangar building, and across the rocket launch area to the final delivery point. Gibraltar is the longest escort map in the game and rewards teams with strong map awareness and ability to maintain sustained pushes. The hangar interior creates a significant mid-section transition, and the launch pad area features unique sightlines and flanking opportunities in the finale.
