About Busan Stadium
Busan Stadium is the third and final Lúcioball arena in Overwatch, introduced during the 2018 Summer Games. Set near Busan's downtown district and harbor, the stadium is deeply woven into the fabric of the city's broader Overwatch identity — a city already home to D.Va's MEKA base and a Hanok temple district.
Where the other two arenas feel relatively open, Busan Stadium is the most enclosed and obstacle-heavy of the three. Tall pillars and a central overhanging light transform Lúcioball into a more tactical, close-quarters affair. Nano-Cola ads featuring D.Va dominate the skyline above the arena — a reminder that you're in her city. The backdrop is the same environment seen in the "Shooting Star" animated short, connecting the arena to one of Overwatch's most personal character stories.
Lúcioball — How It Works
Lúcioball is a 3v3 soccer-style brawl exclusive to the Summer Games event. All players play as Lucio, using Soundwave and wall rides to control an oversized ball. No weapons, no ultimates — just positioning and mechanical skill.
Scoring
Score the most goals in 4 minutes. In overtime, the next goal wins immediately.
Rebound Risk
The pillars and central light make ball physics more unpredictable. A stray Soundwave can easily deflect into your own goal.
Arena Layout
Tall Pillars
Several tall pillars line the arena, making long-range passes much harder to execute. The ball can ricochet unpredictably off them — use this to your advantage.
Overhanging Light
A large central overhanging light increases the likelihood of high-arc shots bouncing back. This rewards goalkeepers who position centrally rather than on the line.
Enclosed Feel
Busan Stadium is the most enclosed of the three arenas, making situational awareness critical. Stray Soundwaves can easily rebound into your own goal.
Short Passes
Due to the pillars, short controlled passes and quick shots work better here than in the open Estádio das Rãs. Prioritize accuracy over power.
